DECEPTION<\/h1>\n

Jesus’ deciples asked Him when He would return for His church, to which He replied in Matthew 24:4-5, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, \u2018I am the Messiah,\u2019 and will deceive many.” For many\u00a0 we see this passage as “deception within the church”, but few considered such a global deception.<\/p>\n

The truth is Jesus talked about “deception ” four times within this passage… more than anything else. Wouldn’t it make sense then to self-check your own beliefs and how they align with the Bible. Sadly, one of the biggest deceptions people seem to always tell themselves is “I’m a ‘good person’, so I know God will accept me.”<\/p>\n

Do you really need evidence of this? And perrhaps one of the worst attributers to this is SOCIAL MEDIA.\u00a0<\/strong>Social media has allowed people to say and do things they never would in-person. It’s allowed anyone and everyone to rise to a level of fame. It’s allowed us to idolize people and create idols of ourselves. We’ve accepted social media, justifying it as a means to “stay connected”, and yet subtly it has created a platform to bring out the worst in people, and be recognized for this.<\/p>\n

Social media is just the “low hanging fruit” however. What has permeated throughout society is an unwillingness to SEEK TRUTH!\u00a0<\/strong>The new phrase has been “find your truth”<\/em>, or “live with your truth”<\/em>. Just because you say something is true, doesn’t make it true. For example: You say, “The sky is red.” when it clearly is “blue”. Does that make you right? NO! There are inalienable truths that you cannot perform mental gymnastics to leap over. And God will not agree with you.<\/p>\n

So why does Jesus refer to Noah\u2019s day? Like it is today, it was in Noah\u2019s day, when\u00a0<\/span>\u201cthe earth was corrupt in God\u2019s sight, and the earth was filled with violence. And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth\u201d<\/span>\u00a0(Gen 6:11-12). Today, as in Noah\u2019s day, all people seemed to think about was new ways to sin (Gen 6:5). That\u2019s happening right now.<\/span>

Revelation 17:1\u201318\u00a0gives us several characteristics of the one-world religion. Revelation 13:16-17 describes a time when no one will be able to buy or sell without a “Mark” on their right hand or forehead.
